State Trading Corporation of India net profit rose 78.61 Percent to Rs 39.58 crore in Qtr ending March 2010 for the financial year 2009-2010 compared to Rs 22.16 crore in qtr ending March 2009. Sales rose 46.16 Percent to Rs 6485.93 crore in Qtr ending March 2010 for the financial year 2009-2010 compared to Rs 4437.51 crore in qtr ending March 2009.

For the full year 2009-2010, net profit rose 7.40 Percent to Rs 84.32 crore in the Year ending March 2009-2010 compared to Rs 78.51 crore during the previous year ended March 2008-2009. Sales rose 7.96 Percent to Rs 21360.13 crore in the Year ending March 2009-2010 compared to Rs 19785.84 crore during the previous year ended March 2008-2009.
