Worlds Shortest Man He Pingping dies at 21.He was admitted to hospital two weeks ago after suffering a chest complaint and died on Saturday, but his death has only just been announced.Guinness World Records said he had made a “huge impact around the world”.

He measured 73 cm (2 ft 5 in) tall,[4] and was the third child of a family in Huade county, in the city of Wulanchabu in northern China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. He had two sisters, both of whom developed at normal rates. According to his father, He Yun, at birth He Pingping was small enough to fit in the palm of his parent’s hands. When it became apparent the child was growing very slowly, doctors diagnosed the cause as the bone deformity Osteogenesis imperfecta, which hinders normal bone growth and bodily height.

While other powertrain configurations were considered by the Mulsanne engineers early on in the project, it became clear that the massive torque trademark of every grand Bentley could be best achieved with a V8 engine. And though the base configuration is similar to the engineering design classic first built in Crewe fifty years ago, the Mulsanne V8 has been completely redesigned to integrate the latest technologies.

The result? A remarkable 6 ¾-litre, 90-degree V8 engine, an all-new 505bhp engineering marvel that generates 1020Nm of torque. All the major building blocks of the engine are new and have been designed to optimise performance. They also contribute towards meeting three key objectives: maximising torque, refinement and efficiency. Nowhere is this better demonstrated than in the introduction of two new electro-mechanical control systems: cam phasing and variable displacement. Variable displacement also has a significant effect on the new engine’s fuel consumption thanks to its ability to idle four of the eight cylinders when cruising. This, in conjunction with the new eight-speed automatic transmission with quick-shift, reduces CO2 emissions and offers a potential 15 per cent saving in fuel compared to the previous V8.

New Secretariat Building Chennai is going to be inaugurated today , the first thing that will come to mind in all chennites mind is traffic diversion , traffic and normal police have already started to bombard the whole city of chennai , I went by the side of the secretariat and the work was still going on previous week or so and they have the inaguration today , i heard they have sepnt almost 2 crore or so as set to complete the building as it was not fully completed .

The suburban police have announced few traffic regulations ahead of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s visit to the city on Saturday.All heavy vehicles coming from southern districts and passing through GST Road and proceeding towards Koyambedu should take the Irumbliyur bridge and Tambaram by-pass road.
Heavy vehicles and private buses from Tambaram should go to the Tambaram-Mudichur junction and proceed to Velachery Main Road.Heavy vehicles from Bangalore highway proceeding to Koyambedu should go via Maduravoyal Saveetha Dental College junction. Vehicles from Poonamallee Road should go via Kumamanchavadi-Mount junction and Maduravoyal bypass road.
The route to be taken by the Prime Minister’s convoy to and from the Secretariat will be closed. Motorists have been asked to start early to avoid inconvenience.

Nagarjuna Construction Company has informed the market that it has secured orders worth 1221 crores ,Out of that 2 orders are valued at Rs 647 crore was secured from the Hyderabad Growth Corridor, Hyderabad for construction of access controlled expressway as outer ring road to Hyderabad City to be completed in 30 months.
> 3 orders valued at 358 crore was secured from the Chief Engineer, Maharashtra State electricity Distribution, Mumbai for turnkey contract for various turnkey electrical works , it has to be executed in 30 months.
>One order was secured from NTPC for 99 crore , the order is for construction of CW system and make up water system at Bihar valued , The execution time is again 30 months.
>One order for 63 crore from Indian Oil Corporation for construction of Unit Substation Buildings at Paradip, Orissa , The execution time for the project is 12 months.
>One more order worth around 54 crore was secured from the Director, National Institute of Technology, Tripura for construction of housing guest house, directors residence etc. at Agartala , The execution time for the project is 21 months.

February 2010 Auto Sales Number

Maruti Suzuki

Maruti Suzuki February auto sales number is at 96650 units Vs 79190 units every month its kind of hitting the highest number of auto sold,This includes 11,885 units of exports.The company sold 84,765 units in the domestic market, This is also the highest ever domestic sales made in a month.

Bajaj Auto

February bike sales stood up 80% (YoY) at 2.35 lakh units and total sales stood up 75% to 2,70,000 units.Bajaj Auto saw 100% Motorcycle sales growth as against industry growth of 35%. Pulsar sales stood at 65,000 units in February, Discover sales stood at 90,000 units, Platina sales stood at 45,000 units and Boxer sales stood at 35,000 units.Bajaj Auto two wheeler sales stood at 2,34710 units in February 2010, up 80%.

M&M

M&M total sales stood at 27,894 units Vs 19,994 units. Auto exports stood at 1314 units Vs 300 units. Tractor sales stood at 13,920 units Vs 9,123 units. Tractor exports stood at 780 units Vs 244 units.

Hero Honda

Hero Honda February total sales stood at 3.82 lakh units Vs 3.29 lakh units (YoY).

Tata Motors

Tata Motor’s domestic sales increased 56% at 66,190 vehicles compared to 42,493 sold in February 2009, while exports came in at 3,237 vehicles, up 146%. Its commercial vehicles segment recorded highest ever sales clocked by the company, which grew 67% at 39,205 units versus 23,493 units sold in February 2009. LCV sales too were up 49% at 21,764 units—highest ever for the company. Medium and heavy commercial vehicle sales stood at 17,441 units, a growth of 98% over February last year.The passenger vehicles business reported a total sale and distribution offtake of 29,241 units (26,985 Tata + 2,256 Fiat) in the domestic market in February 2010, the highest ever and a 43.7% increase compared to 20,348 units (19,039 Tata + 1,309 Fiat) in February last year.

Hyundai Motor

Hyundai Motor India recorded a 46.1% push in its sales, which stood at 31,001 units in February 2010.

On the financial side Sunil Agarwal, President & CEO of ARSS Infrastructure Projects said that FY10 sales would be almost at Rs 1050 crore and profit would be anywhere at 100 crore. FY10 EPS is seen at Rs 70 and FY11 EPS is seen at Rs 100, The current order book is at Rs 3500 crore,Which is said to be executed between 18-24 months.
