I was checking yahoo finance after a long time may be one month lot of improvements like streaming quotes adn then clicked on the nasdaq chart today there to my surprise was Ajax finance chart beta and i clicked on it it had a very cool look and feel , think you have to use it to experience the chart , try it here at Yahoo Chart Beta .Think it would be tough time for google to compete with yahoo on the finance side and with this new charting tool yahoo has some upper hand.
