Markets closed for the day , totally it might have traded for 2 minutes , as it hit all the 3 barriers 10 percent , 15 percent and 20 percent .Finally the sensex reopened after the 15 percent barrier to close at 14272 up by 2099 points or 17.24 percent and nifty at 4308 points up by 636 points or 17.33 percent .Only totally 202 stocks traded in Nifty and 800 stocks traded in bse, Think today there would have been no participation by retailers everything would have been from FII and mutual funds.Total turnover for today is 3103 crore.

The fifth and final phase of election was over today and we are just 2 day away from knowing which government would form the government .The fear of hing parliment got caught into the market today and it almost loss like 240 points from the days high and BSE 30-share Sensex lost 138.38 points or 1.14 percent .Previously this week they said BJP might get some good majority in the voting and it went up yesterday and now just the exit poll results came out which says that congress might be single largest party but still everyone below 200 is a big blow to indian politics.so now if as predicted if Miss Jayalalitha sweeps Tamil Nadu then she will be able to decide with help from Lallo and paswan who would be the next Prime Minister of India .
