Hindustan Construction Company Ltd has informed the market that the company has bagged orders as part of the consortium between HCC-CPPL- JV i.e. Hindustan Construction Co. Ltd (HCC) and Coastal Projects Pvt. Ltd (CPP) , the award has been bagged from North Frontier Railway, Maligaon, Guwahati for for Design and Construction of Single Tunnel No.1 (App. Total Length 3250 RM) at km 15.880 to km 19.500 in between Dholakal and Kalmal in connection with construction of New Railway Line Project – Jinbam – Tupul (Imphal) from North Frontier Railway, Maligaon, Guwahati.
Order value of the contract is 197.06 Crore.Total order value of 60 percent in it which is 118.24 will go to HCC,The project execution time is 24 months.

Nagurjuna Construction has informed the market that it has secured three new orders aggregating to Rs 263 crore from three different clients.
Order info

>First order valued at Rs 119 crore is from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company, Mumbai for turnkey contract for infrastructure plan phase II project works.
>Second order valued at Rs 83 crore is from Coimbatore Corporation, Coimbatore for water works in the city. >Third order is valued at Rs 61 crore is from the Institute of Charted Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI) for construction of academic block and related works at Tripura.

Praj Industries soars to 275 after joint venture

Praj Industries which was my recommendation from almost 6 months finally saw sunshine this week , they have a formed a JVC Praj Jaragua Bioenergia S.A., will supply end-to-end solutions for sugarcane juice to ethanol production. Praj Industries will hold 54% in the JVC while Jaragua will hold the balance 46%. Jaragua is a leading Brazilian engineering major and the JVC will provide Praj an entry into the fastest growing ethanol market in the world.One can buy this stock even at this level.

Textiles – Spring Summer 2007 Collection set to be launched
The Company will also be launching its Spring — Summer 2008/9 Dobby and Jacquard collection across Europe on March 05, 2007. The launch will be at all the International Trade Fairs in the continent. This collection comprises over 3,000 designs in the Men’s Formals, Casuals, Evening Wear and Ladies Wear range. The collection would be launched in India a Fortnight after its Europe launch. These designs would be marketed to large international brands with which the Company has existing tie-up, such as Marks & Spencer’s, Armani, Burberry’s, Darcy’s and Abercrombie & Fitch.
