Tech Mahindra wins the BID for Satyam Computers and the bid
was for 58 rs , So they will paying 1757 crores for 31 percent
holding from Satyam and they would be paying 2890 crore to
acquire 51 percent stake in satyam .It heard that Larsen toubro
bidded for only 49 rs.

Satyam computer rose by almost 3 percent today to close at 27.there was some good news for it to go up , Tarun Das who was one of the appointed director by government of india has reported saying that Satyam Computer is a strong and viable company and it has been approached for buyouts by both international and Indian IT firms.

Deccan Chronicle Approves Dividend and BuyBack of shares

Deccan Chronicle holdings approves on the meetign that took part on december 16th 2008 that they will give 100 percent dividend and also approved buyback of shares upto rs 100 per share aggregating to Rs 180 Crores from equity shareholders other than the Promoters and persons in control of the Company subject to approval of shareholders through postal ballot, SEBI and other regulatory approvals.The record date for the dividend is not yet announced.

SUN TV is on high after in informed the market that on the meeting thats going to be held on october 30th 2008 they will decide on the Buyback of Equity , We will know the financial result on october 30th also but in the previous june ending qtr they  showed a net profit rise of  10.2 percent  to Rs 102.54 crore on 10.5 percent  increase in net sales to Rs 223.57 compared to june QTR of 2007.
