Paramount CommunicationsParamount Communications Ltd informed the market today that its foreign subsidiary, AEI Cables Ltd., UK , which is fully owned by paramount communication has won a prestigious 8 Million Pound order which is equal to almost 58 Crores in indian Rs.The order is for supply of cables to help build the next generation of aircraft carriers for British fleet-the largest ships to enter services in the UK.

power projectAREVAs Transmission and Distribution Division (T&D), AREVA T&D informed the market today that it has bagged a prestigious contract for the modernization of Chennai Airport, from Herve Pomerleau International which is a Consolidated construction Consortium JV which takes care of the Chennai airport projects.
Areva TD is now involved for a work that would do Power Supply System package to develop the Kamraj Domestic Terminal Phase-II, expansion of the existing Anna International Terminal and face-lifting of existing terminals at Chennai Airport.The project is worth 50 crore and its one of the highest given in Indian airport history just for power segment.

Jet Airways India ltd has launched its historic flight connecting India with United States, with daily flights from Mumbai to New York (Newark) via its Hub in Brussels.
Flight 9W 228 (Mumbai- New York), departs from Terminal 2A Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport daily at 0210 hrs and arrives in Brussels International Airport at 0740 hrs. At Brussels, special arrangements have been made by Airport Authorities to provide Jet Airways’ passengers a seamless connection.Everyday, this flight (9W 228) will depart Brussels at 0940 hrs and will arrive in New York at Newark’s New International Liberty Airport at 1155 hrs.
From New York (Newark) 9W 227 (New York — Mumbai) departs daily at 2025 hrs and arrives at 0940 hrs in Brussels. Flight 9W 227 leaves Brussels at 1140 hrs and arrives in Mumbai at 2230 hrs the same day.
The introductary Economy fair is 36000 rs but normal fare is 40000 rs.We will see if it brings some profit for Jet airways.
In a move to take control of Indian Aviation industry UB holdings parent company of Kinfisher Airlines has got 26 percent of Air Deccan for 550 crore, which values Air Deccan at 2200 crore.This made the stock yesterday raise by 11 percent .
