| Dasavatharam is a forthcoming Tamil feature film starring Kamal Haasan, directed by K. S. Ravikumar, who with Dasavatharam, pairs up with Kamal Haasan for the fourth time. Haasan acts in ten different roles, breaking the record for an actor’s portrayal of the most different characters whilst Asin Thottumkal in a dual role and Mallika Sherawat also play lead roles in the film. The film, which has been under production since mid-2005, has Himesh Reshammiya, popular bollywood music director, as the music composer and Venu Ravichandran as the main producer. |

The movie has been talked about ever since it was announced. The film, made with a budget of 165 crore (1.65 billion) Indian rupees, is all set to be released on June 13, 2008.
