IVRCL bags order worth 484 crores

IVRCL Infrastructures & Projects Ltd has announced that the Buildings & Industrial Structure (B & IS) Division has bagged the orders of the value of Rs 484 Crores.
Order Details

1. Scope of Work:- Construction of various Buildings to be completed in 42 months
Client: River Bank Developers Pvt Ltd, Kolkata : Value : Rs 250 Crores
2. Scope of Work:- Mass housing in Baprola
Client: Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd : Value : Rs 114 Crores
3. Scope of Work:- Construction of Civil & structural works
Client: Jindal Steel & Power Ltd, Patratu, Jharkhand : Value : Rs 55 Crores
4. Scope of Work:- Civil, Structural etc work of auxiliary buildings
Client: Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd : Value : Rs 40 Crores
5. Scope of Work:- Other Miscellaneous works : Value : Rs 25 Crores.


IVRCL awarded order worth 478.48 crores

IVRCL Infrastructures & Projects informed the market that they have been awarded project worth   Rs 478.48 Crores from Narmada Valley Development Authority, Bhopal for execution of “Canal system of Indira Sagar Project Phase-III, Sanawad District, Madhya Pradesh.But the Stock went down by 30 rs or 7 percent in todays market crash.


Jain Irrigation is one of the stock which was in deep red in the morning and then came into green with a huge spike in price after they informed that they have acquired controlling stake in Switzerland based Thomas Machines S.A (THE).THE is a manufacturer of specialist machines and equipment, including drip irrigation lines, quality control and test equipment, automation equipment, laser machine centers and laser products.This is one of the stock i bought before budget and sold it after nothing was given as tax cut or excise duty cut for this sector in the budget and today im thinking why i sold it, but sometime it happens like this .

IVRCL Infrastructures & Projects Ltd has informed the market that it has secured order worth Rs 517.89 Crores through Water, Irrigation and Power Divisions .

4. Design and construction of Water Treatment Plants - Value: Rs 42.06 Crores
5. Investigation, Surveying, design - Value: Rs 28.78 Crores
6. Providing flow - Value: Rs 10.46 Crores
7. Other Miscellaneous Works - Value: Rs 12.14 Crores
IRRIGATION DIVISION
8. RTTP Stage -II- Design - Value: Rs 139.49 Crores
POWER DIVISION:
9. Works relating to transmission lines - Value: Rs 42.33 Crores

Aries Agro lists at good premium

Aries Agro and Precision pipes saw listing today and at it opened at 150 and went to a high of 228 and now tyrading at 20o to 205 rate.


Fertiliser stocks all soared up almost more than 10 percent after a report that appeared that the government will issue bonds worth Rs 7500 crore to fertiliser firms by end-November 2007 to compensate them for selling the commodity at discounted prices.

that the Company bagged Water transmission works of the value of
Rs 223.52 Crores & Power transmission works of the value of Rs 123.28
Crores aggregating to Rs 346.80 Crores in the states of Rajasthan and
Maharashtra .


IVRCL bagged lift Irrigation order valued Rs 761.24 Crores

IVRCL Infrastructures & Projects Ltd has bagged lift irrigation works of the value of Rs 761.24 Crores of Handri Niva Sujala Shravanthi (HNSS) Project main canal for Stage II of Phase 1 in Kurnool and Anantapur Districts of Andhra Pradesh, on EPC Turkey basis which includes “Investigation, Design, Manufacture, supply of pumps, Motors and pressure mains at site of work including erection, commissioning and testing 8 Nos. at each pumping station of Hydro-Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical and other accessories etc. complete equipment required and maintenance of 12 pumps at each pumping station and the system for 15 years”, awarded by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, Irrigation & CAD Department.


HCC.jpg Hindustan Construction Company Ltd has informed BSE that the Company has bagged the prestigious Rs 415 crore water tunnel project from the Municipal Corporation of Brihamumbai.The tunnel will replace the old upper Vaitarna and Vaitarna mains in this section and will improve the water supply to Vakola, Mahim, Dadar and Malbar Hills. The tunnel will be laid underground by digging a shaft 90 feet deep and then excavating the tunnel horizontally using the tunnel boring technique. It will connect the existing Ruparel College to Dr. E Moses road tunnel that supplies water to Malabar Hills. It will be completed in 2012 and will supply 1100 million liters daily.

IVRCL Infrastructures & Projects Ltd has been awarded the five irrigation works by the irrigation & C.A.D Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh, amopunting to 641.39 crores.The stock rose today hearing the news of the order.

Advanta hit 20 percent upper circuit today

Advanta has touched an intra day high of Rs 974.10 and an intra day low of Rs 818.80. Currently, the share is quoting at Rs 974.10, up Rs 162.35, or 20%. I dont see any reason other than the news of “Decision to raise the FII limit from 22 to 49% ” but these company are getting crazy .


Kirloskar Brothers Ltd has received order from Government of Andhra Pradesh, Irrigation and CAD Department, for construction of Pumping Stations at Vasanthavada, Peddavagu Project and Bandarugudem Tank including Electro Mechanical and Hydro Mechanical works including site development for Indira Sagar Lift Irrigation Project (Polavaram). The Contract value is Rs 344 Crores.


Jain Irrigation acquies Aquarius Brands Inc. California, USA

Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd on February 15, 2007 has announced that it has agreed to acquire 100% control in Aquarius Brands Inc. California, USA from Habasit Holding USA Inc for USD 21.5 million in all cash deal. Aquarius is a debt free Company. With this acquisition, the Company will become second largest drip irrigation Company in the world.

The Company is a diversified Company with more than 3,800 employees and market capitalization in excess of INR 25 Billion and a product portfolio encompassing Irrigation Products, Piping Products, Plastic Sheets, Dehydrated Foods, Fruit Puree and Juice concentrates.
