Chennai Petroleum Corporation net profit rose 117.63% to Rs 703.27 crore in Qtr ending June 2008 for the financial year 2008-2009 compared to Rs 323.15 crore in qtr ending june2007. Sales rose 77.10% to Rs 11151.10 crore in Qtr ending June 2008 for the financial year 2008-2009 compared to Rs 6296.61 crore in qtr ending june2007.
