Sterlite Optical to design and work for MTNL on Boradband and Metro Ethernet Network
Sterlite Optical Technologies has announced that it has received a contract from MTNL for deployment of a Broadband & Metro Ethernet network in Delhi & Mumbai. The network, once completed, would be capable of handling about half a million broadband connections in these cities. The project is valued at Rs 169 Crores and would be completed during FY 2007-08 & FY 2008-09.
