NTPC signs MOU with Government of Chattisgarh

National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd (NTPC) informed the market yesterday that that the Company has signed a MOU with the Government of Chhattisgarh for establishing a 4000 MW coal based thermal power project having 5 units of 800 MW each at Lara in Raigarh District of Chattisgarh subject to establishment of techno-commercial feasibility.
>They have also signed another MOU with Govt of Chhattisgarh for setting up an International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) and an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in the state of Chhattisgarh to accelerate economic development and employability of skilled / semi-skilled workforce in industries.
