Larsen & Toubro Results – Announces Results for Qtr Ending June 2009

Larsen & Toubro net profit rose 218.09% to Rs 1598.20 crore in Qtr ending june 2009 for the financial year 2008-2009 compared to Rs 502.44 crore in qtr ending june 2008. Sales rose 6.68% to Rs 7362.71 crore in Qtr ending june 2009 for the financial year 2008-2009 compared to Rs 6901.43 crore in qtr ending june 2008.The net profit includes exceptional income of Rs. 1,020 crore got through stake sale of ultratech tech cement.
