Areva T&D India Ltd has informed the market that it has bagged 2 orders from Hindalco for 2 x 220kV Conversion Substations. The order involves design, supply, installation and commissioning of 5x100kA, 1650V DC rectifier stations, at each location of Bargwan (Singrauli-Madhya Pradesh) and Lapanga (Sambalpur-Orissa).With the value of old orders we can value this one anywhere from 75 to 100 crore.
Zicom Electronic Security Systems came out with results today and when the results came out it was so good that it was locked at upper limit of 5% at Rs 87.90 on bombay stock exchange .

Zicom Electronic’s net profit rose 22.51% to Rs 9.85 crore on a 18.68% rise in sales to Rs 195.25 crore in the year ended March 2009 (FY 2009) over the year ended March 2009 (FY 2008).
Consolidated
Zicom’s consolidated net profit surged 1251% to Rs 19.59 crore on a 29.45% rise in sales to Rs 375.75 crore in FY 2009 over FY 2008.

The initial public offer of Mahindra Holidays has been priced at Rs 300 per share. Arun Nanda, Chairman, Mahindra Holidays Resorts, said the IPO has been priced lower as a gesture to retail investors. He said the company will be listed in the next 21 days.

Mahindra Holidays fixed IPO price at Rs 300 a share. Dipan Mehta, Member, BSE/NSE said even at Rs 300 a share, it looked expensive. He was more comfortable at slightly lower levels, maybe around Rs 220230 levels, which would be a good entry point for this company.
