Gammon Infra hits Upper Circuit – wins order worth 861 crore

Gammon Infrastructure Projects informed the market today that they have been alloted the Rajahmundry Godavari Bridge Ltd, the special purpose vehicle incorporated for estimated project cost of 861 crore in which they would be doing designing, constructing, financing, operating and maintaining a major bridge across the river Godavari connecting Rajahmundry and Kovvur in Andhra Pradesh , They have even have financial closure for this project in which 566 crore is from consortium of bankers and then Central Government grant of Rs 118.6 crores and a grant of Rs 88.95 crores from local state government of andhra .The Project is on BOT basis for a period of 25 years, including a construction period of 3 years.Company hit 5 percent upper circuit in BSe , currently the stock is trading at 117.50.
