Patel Engineering bags order worth 3859 crore

Patel Engineering Ltd informed the market that it has bagged the single largest irrigation project in India, the Pranahita – Chevella Lift Irrigation – Package 6 of Rs 3,859 crore from the Government of Andhra Pradesh in consortium with BHEL and Navyuga Construction. The Pranahita Lift Irrigation scheme will divert about 160 TMC of water from the river Pranahita to irrigate an area of 12,20,000 acres in the drought prone areas of the Telangana region.Execution of the project is 48 months .
