BHEL receives order worth 2000 crore from OMAN

BHEL informed the market today that they have secured contract for ‘Price Agreement’ (rate contract) for 126 MW rating Gas Turbine Generator packages from the Sultanate of Oman. The order is worth Rs 2000 Crores for supply of Gas Turbine Generator packages.
The order is to supply and supervision of erection and commissioning of several 126 MW units for various power projects planned by Petroleum Development Oman (PDO). This rate contract will initially be valid for six years with a provision for further extension by another 3 years with mutual agreement, during which PDO can buy additional units from BHEL.
